Blackberry Crisp

Following our blackberry picking, we had to find something to do with all of our berries!  Adrienne found this delicious recipe for Berry Crisp.  It was so good, that we finished the first batch before dinner and had to make a second one!

Berry Crisp

Part 1:
4 cups blackberries (or other berries)
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Part 2:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup oatmeal, uncooked
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter

Step 1: Mix berries, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon in 9 inch square pan.

Step 2: Cut butter into dry ingredients and put topping on berry mixture.  Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly and slightly browned. 


Someone snuck a piece before I was able to take a picture!


Ask Travis, the berry crisp is really delicious with ice cream!
