Boudros Famous Guacamole

Last weekend Adrienne and Greg took a little getaway to San Antonio.  When they got back, all they could talk about was this amazing guacamole from a restaurant called Boudro's.  So naturally, we had to try and make some!  It was just as delicious as they described it!

Boudro's Famous Guacamole

Ingredients
Juice of 1/4 of an orange
Juice of 1/2 a lime
1 avocado seeded and scooped out of skin
2 Tbs roasted and charred Roma tomatoes diced
1 ea Serrano pepper roasted seeded and diced
1 Tbs medium dice red onions
1 tsp chopped cilantro
coarse ground salt to taste (sea salt is better)

Directions
Squeeze juices into bowl. Add avocado and coarsely chop. Add onions, roasted tomato, serrano and cilantro fold into avocado mixture. Add salt (more is better). Result should be crudely chopped not mashed. That’s it.

Enjoy!

  2. Sounds amazingly good. Only 1 avacado? I'm going to try this this weekend!

  3. There's got to be more than one avacado! That means I'd eat the whole bowl myself. Unless it's a Texas sized avacado. Maj and I will have to try it. Love, Faj
