Safe in Switzerland

Hey everyone,
We just wanted lto let you know we are ok and are very sorry we cannot post in Switzerland but the internet is very expensive but will post one tomorrow, hopefully, because we want to show everyone pictures of the incredible things we have done in Interlaken.
Typing it out doesnt do it justice and we have to include pictures so be prepared for some very cool posts in the coming days.
Oh and a McDonalds meal costs 12 swiss francs, or over 11 dollars. We are too poor to eat there :(
Love you and miss you all,
AJ and Erika

  4. Hi AJ and Erika:

It is Uncle Larry and Aunt Bernadette.

Grandma Audrey put us on to your site and we have been enjoying it greatly. Of course the architectural history has a very special appeal to me and the photos and descriptions of your experiences really do bring Europe to life.

Bernadette and I spent three weeks in Greece two years ago and like your experiences, it was truly amazing. The combination of history, architecture, religion, and incredible senic beauty, make these trips unforgetable. Our next major venture will be to Italy, Florence, Venice, Rome and the Amalfi Coast. We can't wait!

We at home here are still suffering greatly from the recent depression and of course Michigan is one of the hardest hit states due to our dependence on the automobile industry. Our office, TMP, is less than half its size from just a year or so ago. However, we are an optomistic group and are dedicated to come out of this stronger and with more resolve to good architecture than ever.

Know that your whole extended family loves you and wishes you both the very best. We hope that the experience of your trip makes you richer, more patient, and more understanding young adults. We are proud of you both!

Look forward to seeing you safely back at home.

    Love Uncle Larry
