Cannes!

Well hellooooo! We had to take a short detour yesterday and spend the night in Cannes which was wonderful! We arrived late in the afternoon so we spent the entire evening walking along the beach, people watching, watching the sun set, ate gelato, and just relaxed!

No pictures today, but here are some funny things that happened to us...

1. We were bothered by several gypsies yesterday, one particular kid tried to reach into our bags to get some candy. AJ having none of this pushed him out of the way which made Erika laugh for several minutes after.

2. We had to wait for four hours to catch our train to Cannes, poor planning on our part :)

3. While eating lunch along the beach, two teenage girls on the beach starting having a photo shoot, a very amateur photo shoot. We could not stop laughing as these girls were trying to impersonate Victoria Secret models while little kids with water wings were running around them. The show ended when they changed into their clothes and flashed us their butts!

4. There was a rather large homeless man who we watched steal another hobo's bed on the beach and eat his food. All of which he did before exposing himself to go to the bathroom in public. Then he curled up and went to sleep!

5. On Saturday nights, the thing to do is walk along the boulevard that runs along the beach. One particular family had the funniest children. One girl in a stroller was licking her ice cream stretching her tongue out as far as possible with each lick. Her older sister was breaking it down to the saxaphone player who was next to us.

6. Another particular little boy was dancing his way down the street while riding his scooter, pretty talanted if you ask us!

We are going to save the funniest thing for tomorrow since we have pictures. Although only Southpark fans are going to find it hilarious.
